Originally from Canada, Karen began her career in chemical engineering before transitioning to corporate and investment banking in the UK during the dot-com boom. With over 20 years of experience managing global transformation programs for top-tier banks like UBS, Barclays, BNP Paribas, and Lloyds - Karen is a strategic problem solver passionate about using data and technology for sustainable growth.
A seasoned entrepreneur with two successful exits, Karen has been recognised on "Top 10 to Watch" FinTech lists and was recently named one of the "Top 100 Female Entrepreneurs to Watch" by The Telegraph and NatWest. sherloc is the latest venture from her third start-up, ELEMENTARYb (Eb). At this early stage, Karen personally oversees customer onboarding, allowing clients to tap into her extensive experience and discuss their core challenges and opportunities.
